![]() Description Every year Japan conducts Antarctic whaling, exploiting a IWC loophole that allows for so-called ‘scientific whaling’. Japan intends to slaughter an even larger number of whales in 2008 and 2009. Including the Endangered Fin whale and next year Humpbacks.Their current quota consists of 950 Minke and 50 Endangered Fin whales. How You Can Help 1) Support Sea Shepherd Conservation Society They are in desperate need of a second ship to stop Japanese Whalers from the start of the season to the end using two ships on a relay pattern.
